Does anyone on here with an AMEX Platinum have a Walmart+ membership? I have one bc of the Platinum benefit that offsets the cost of the membership...my June 2023 membership charged on June 1 and my July 2023 membership charged on June 30, so CSR chat says they can't provide the benefit for my July 2023 charge (since it was charged in June and it's a monthly credit).
Anyone else experience this?
Never had this problem with my Walmart plus membership. Usually the credit comes on the account with a week or two delay so maybe it will still show up and the agent doesn't know what he is talking about.

Ugh, you must have my luck!
I have the Platinum and Walmart+ combo (for now, anyway... will soon be dropping both) so I'm familiar with the credit and how it works. Unfortunately, based on the wording in the fine-print (specifically, once monthly and not per statement) you might be out of luck, at least this time.
It's easy enough to fix going forward... just change the billing date of your Walmart+ account to a date in the middle of the month. More info on that here: https://www.walmart.com/help/article/walmart-change-billing-date/6d81a1f3cfe843e8b9cbeebe926e7cdf
I'm actually surprised the Platinum rep wasn't able/willing to give you a one-time courtesy credit. Assuming the credit for this month doesn't eventually post automatically, it might be worth reaching-out to them again to see if you might have better luck with a different rep (and try phone instead of chat). I've received manual credit before for Hulu when the credit never showed up on its own (but not due to being twice in the same month). The worst they can do is say no.

thanks for this! i went ahead and changed my date, always amazes me how dumb this stuff is. i'll call them when i get a chance this week, i hate having to call in for crap like this that should be easily handled through chat. like you, i've received manual credit in the past (through chat), but i know that sometimes it just depends on who you get.
annoying bc i've already spent more of my time than the value of the monthly fee lol
What I've learned about credits on the platty is to not wait until the end of the month to make purchases and give yourself enough time for charges to post. Then also account for a week for Amex algorithm to apply your credit. Long story short, do everything at the beginning but not later than the middle of the month. Ymmv... good luck.
Or, just pay the 1-year WM+ at a fair $98 (minus 2, 3, or 5% CB, depending on how you pay), vs the $13/mo ($156/yr) and an exuberant $695 AF just to save $98.
