AMEX SYNC APPROVAL

Was approved on November 10th and just received the card today.  And the best news when I logged in.......................

Member since 1985

I knew I had a Green Amex a long time ago but wasn't sure if it would pick up the date because it was so long ago.  I guess I'm really dating myself now.

On a serious note, good to hear they backdated it like that. It seems to be one of the nicer things they do for their customer - I guess you have to balance out the thread of random FR's somehow!

Nice that I didn't even have to contact them.  The main reason I applied was for the backdating.

Awesome!! Congrats! Huge score on the back-dating as well. I was an AU on Amex apparently many years ago. Well, positive trade lines from Amex are on my reports at least. If I get an Amex down the road, will it back date me?

From reading other posts about the backdating they would back date you if you were an AU on somebody else's card.
