There has been a Ddos attack against major isp off and on for the last few days, maybe a bit more. A spammer group is unhappy about the way they have been treated. I know my netflix et.al. has been choppy and sites have been hit or miss on being slow. Might have nothing to do with amex right now, but i find it amazing that a dedicated group could actually slow down the entire internet.

NPR reported this morning that Amex confirmed that their website was subject t to a DDoS attack yesterday.
