Besides the no FTF fee on the Citi card, I think the Amex is a better option. You recieve more points per dollar. For the upgrade on the Amex card, you could upgrade to the one that has a AF, you get even more points, I believe its called the Surpass. If you want rid of it for something else, you could try to product change it.
