Congrats on the two approvals.
Since the Zync is a charge card you likely won't get your credit score. You will for the BCE if they don't grant you the best rates.
I recently applied for two Amex cards on the same day, one was delayed for a few days. It appeared as if I had two INQ hit my EX report but only one shows now. As I understand, even if there were two INQ's EX can and generally will delete one as a duplicate.
Thanks for the input guys, I'll add that I currently have a BoA 1-2-3 cash rewards, Chase Freedom, Citi Dividend, and a Cap 1... wondering if the Zync has anything my other cards don't offer. And if not, would simply having a NPSL charge card added to my credit mix look better to lenders in the future?
USF,
based on your other cards, you were likely being a tad paranoid and probably had little reason to be worried. what are your current TU and EQ Fico scores? It's not just a matter of hindsight being 20/20 but I think if you had asked members your chances based on your scores and report contents, you probably would have been reassured of your chances on the BCE in the first place and just apped for that instead of the ordeal you went through.
Congrats on the approvals! When you applied for Zync, you got the most favorable terms - charge card, NPSL. AmEx wouldn't be required to give a score there.
@USF wrote:Well I went ahead and applied for the BCE online, at the end it said pending and to wait up to 14 days. I immediately went to the application status page where it shows Zync - Approved, BCE....APPROVED!!! Thanks guys... now hopefully it will only be 1 pull. Any reason they werent allowed to tell me my FICO score when apping for Zync? I thought they provided the score.
ztnjpv,
You're right, I might have been a bit paranoid haha. My EX FICO from my denied BCE app 3 months ago was 697, and that was the only inquiry at the time in 2 years. TU FICO of 723 was provided in April when I got a measly CLI on the BoA from 500 to 800. That BoA card was PC from a platinum plus to a 1-2-3 last month, the Citi was PC from platinum select to Dividend this month (which I thought I read they dont do PC anymore?) and I just opened the Freedom last month which also pulled EX. So my credit profile may be a bit deceiving if you look at it now lol. All of the inqs these past 3 months with util around 20% and income <$20k gave me reasonable doubt to be worried since I always read they are income sensitive. I can post updated EX score when I receive the BCE if anyone is interested.
Congrats on your approval and welcome to the family!
FYI - When my NPSL Zync arrived, it did contain my fico score!
That's interesting. I didn't receive my FICO score with my Green approval in December or my Costco TE approval last Sunday. It'd be interesting to know what would cause one to receive the score, not including getting denied.

That IS really interesting, because I didn't even bother to look at the paperwork included with mine.
Gues that is what I get
