When you share an experience and list "your" facts, but not all of them, that there will open up dialog.  Open ended questions is mostly what resulted from your first post.  But it was like pulling teeth, or spraying sunscreen on a kiddo to get more stats.....so yeah, this has been a bumpy ride cause we all want to know, and try to figure out what is/are the key factors to said "experience"...that's all.

Hope you get it all worked out.

Fair enough! I am getting to that part!

They weren't kidding when they said this place is fast moving, I got the impression from the original thread that I came in on that it wasn't! I like it more when I am pleasantly surprised. I may have to start a new thread for each issue and pin my supporting images on the original post to ensure clarity. I want to share the details in particularly and there are a few issues I really do need some help understanding - one of them AMEX asking me to make a double payment this month. So I will do that and I appreciate MyFico for keeping the thread open, I really do!

And I understand I am the noob here, I am not trying to take away anyones thunder. It was a lot to put out there and I wasn't sure the best way to do it... I tried to take the lazy way and post a link to another thread but turns out that other thread is a little to juicy for this place. Thus I will state my individual issues one by one with separate threads and supporting documents so I don't confuse anyone.

Fair enough?

Bumpy starts happen.  As long as posts are in agreement with the Terms of Service laid out by myFICO, we look forward to discussing matters with you in the future.

I'm in agreement with this.  OP, you basically stated that you were here to vent not to receive help.  This forum is all about help.  We all get emotional when credit affects us.  As you've seen many of us have had great relationships with American Express over the years.  When you posted your scores and mentioned that you had perfect payment history, that was a red flag for us and we were all simply trying to show you why Amex took this decision.  It's not based on political parties or any other factor, and it's not a personal decision.  It was simply risk mitigation.

Yup, post #3

Does it hurt to pat yourself on the back all the time? You can get a muscle pull that way

Re: AMEX credit limit decrease

Ok this thread is being locked as alot of emotions from OP and community trying to help.  Hopefully I have given enough time to bring this to a closure I just don't want posts later on in the night when less people are on and have it spiral out of control when I think we finally are all getting on the same page.

@ the OP of this thread people are here to help you.  Some people love Amex, some hate them on this forum and some can care less.  Hope you learned a bit abou this community from this thread in a positive light and in turn might of educated you a bit why AA happened to you with Amex and possible other lenders.
