AMEX --> What's Your CLI date...

For those of you who are like myself and requested a CLI only to be denied and are wondering what the date of the request was because you forgot to right it down I have a phone number that you can find that date in 30 seconds. Forgive me if this has already been posted or if there is an easier way but i thought i would share in case there isn't. The phone number is (800) 576-8942. Enter your info and press option 1, robolady will give you the requested line increase date or inform you that there is no line increase recorded for the past 90 days giving you the all clear to fire away at that LUV button!!!!!

The 3x CLIs from Amex concern me that its just so easy to land into the horror of a Financial Review from Amex and having all your cards get shut down until they are happy with your documentation.    How does everyone deal with that?

Re: AMEX --> What's Your CLI date...

If you check out the monster Amex 3X CLI thread, you'll see a super easy way to avoid POI.

In a nutshell, when you request your 3X CLI (or any Amex CLI, for that matter) if you are prompted with IV language, you simply back out of your browser and repeat the process, just with a lower amount the next time.  Repeat this until you receive an instant approval.

I've taken my Amex BCE card from a $10k SL to $50k currently without ever having to provide IV by using the above mentioned method.

I don't think we've seen financial reviews based on CLI requests. Financial reviews tend to come from weird spending.

On the other hand, income verification pops up a lot. If you run into that and don't want to provide the information, simply do as BBS says and back out.

Agreed, HO.  I felt that the person I was responding to was using the term FR in place of IV/POI, which is why I responded the way I did.  My response was not regarding actual FR, which is different of course.
