I just received an email from AMEX that states it has worked out a deal with McDonalds that allows you to use your reward points at Mcdonalds.
Interesting option for lunch while working once in a while.

If only they offered 1:1.10 at McDonalds.
Nah I still wouldn't eat there THAT often.
SWEET!...Free ice teas! That's about the only thing i'll get from there lol.
It's 1:1, unlike some other redemptions, but still a lousy use of MR. If your card is mainly earning 1MR per $, this is like using a 1% card and there are better options out there. Keep MR for travel redemptions!
Gross.
I got this notification too in email...was in the spam folder LOL.
yawn.
Whoop-dee-doo. This garbage went right in the trash. Give me a 1:1 statement credit like just about every other company does and maybe I'll use your card for something once in a while. MR points are worthless to me as it stands. Yeah yeah, so why do I have the card you say. Backdating. That's all.

1:1 statement credit is nice, but lots of companies don't do it either, BArclays Arrival (same as Amex MR), and Citi TYP (a little better) for example

I maybe in minority but I refuse to get lower than 1.5cpp for my Mr points. So statement credit and McDonald's are definitely off the table

So what's the best transfer partner for MR's?
I have 40,000 of them sitting around collecting cyber-dust.
