AMEX question!

I was talking to AMEX to night and they say that you can transfer any AMEX account that you have an authorized user on and they will be no credit check and you would keep the CL. Does anyone know if that is true? A AMEX rep told me that they can do that.

Re: AMEX question!

Wow. I really doubt that. Especially amex. They are the only CCC I've ever known to deny an authorized user before.

That is what a rep told me after you have 6 to 12 mounts of history.

Re: AMEX question!

Sometimes I think that reps get bored with their jobs (I know I would) and they start to play mind games with the callers. lol! some of the stuff they say is just crazy. I'm not saying it's not possible because I have never had an AU or had a reason to call Amex, but I find it highly unlikely.

Re: AMEX question!

If someone had the nerve to make a statement like that, I would:

1. First ask if they truley believe that?

2. If they do, I would then ask to speak to a supervisor! LOL

Re: AMEX question!

I never heard of it. I hope it would be that easy. NOT Amex.

+1.  Plus there are not "Authorized Users" with Amex... only "Additional Cardmembers".

That sounds a little like "There is no Dana, there is only Zeul", so it made me smile.  Greatest comedy ever.
