AMEX sent new card via express mail

Do they always do that?  They actually paid $16.25 for postage.

O yea for an extra $10 I got my corporate green in 2 days. I'm tlaking about application approval and ready in my hands in two days for $10. Wheneve I loose or just think my cards are too old I request a new one to be sent over  night. I literally get the next day VIA Fed EX for FREE.

A few years ago, Dillard's sent me a replacement card, via FedEx overnight service.  I really don't know why--I was in no big hurry to receive the card.

Re: AMEX sent new card via express mail

I'm guessing that they probably expressed the card because I applied via an "instant approval" link.  when they approved the card, they provided the account #, expiration date and a "provisional" $1,000 limit so that I could start using the card immediately....
OR, do they do this will all applications?

Meanwhile, loser Chase tells me that it will take 30 days, by mail, to tell me whether or not they're giving me a dorky Borders Visa card!

I'm guessing that if I do get it, it's coming by burro, or marathon walker, or carrier pigeon or something. Smiley Happy
