CSP but no Amex? Thats the first time I ever saw Chase being less strict. I take it there is no Optima invite if you include them in BK? As someone opening a small business this is my biggest fear. BK I can deal with but not having an Amex would make me sad now that I finally got one.

Not sure if you were responding to one of my posts, but I definitely fall into that niche, I burned AMEX, Citi, Wells Fargo, and Chase; I am persona non grata for the first three, but Chase recently approved me for a CSP with a starting limit of $11,700.  Then there is BofA, I didn't burn them, but they wouldn't let me back in either.

All in all, I'm happy Chase let me back in and other than adding a United Club if I start traveling again, I probably won't be applying for any new credit cards, like, yeesh, maybe ever.  Smiley Happy

Chapter 13:

  • Burned: AMEX, Chase, Citi, Wells Fargo, and South County Bank (now Bank of Southern California)

I categorically refuse to do AZEO!

Since my Ch 13 discharge a year ago I've got a $10k Amex and a $500 QS...

The one I didn't burn is the one who gave me the highest limit.

I don't much care either... my end goal with Cap One is their higher end cards... like getting my $10k Venture back... not a 1.5% CB card I have a few of those already.

I wouldn't feel too bad about it, I'm a Platinum Honors Preferred Rewards member, but can't even get a CLI on the $5000 limit on the CCR card I've had for 12 years.🤣
I didn't even burn them when my world went to poo in 2015, always made my payments on time!

Back to gardening until Late February 2026.
