And I did get my card a little later in the open app period (Fall '21) if they happen to be sending out batches of letters in order of account length. cf (@coldfusion ), are you saying there is an information section on the AOD website that would indicate that they sent out a letter?
CC ( @CreditCuriosity ), are you seeing that a letter was sent on the AOD website?
I got in right when the storm surge was starting during the FOTM exercise.
Since I hadn't received anything in the mail from them yet and Informed Delivery didn't show anything from them again today I logged onto the website and drilled arount to see if I could find something, without success.

Oh, ok, thanks. I guess I don't know what Informed Delivery means then. I thought you were referring to something on AOD's site. Never mind!

'informed delivery' is where you can see images of your upcoming USPS mail, you can have it send you an email everyday showing the front of your mailpieces

you can log into usps and informed delivery basically scans all you mail for you several hours before it is delivered through basically a scanner and you willl get an email daily of what to expect. Not what is inside letter, but whom it is from and can take educated guess whether a new CC or in this case a nerf letter for AOD. Very cool feature. I would suggest setting it up as it is free.
That sounds awesome. Thanks guys!
Can you go back in time? I want to track down that Golden Corral Cardcash gift card I never received!!, lol.

Eek, don't say that, I just got it and haven't even gotten my 1st statement yet
Although this is a bummer of a nerf, I am grateful they held strong for this long and, now, since monthly spending @3% caps at $1,500, and everyone's interest rates (unless I read it incorrectly) are increasing from fixed 7.49%/8.99% to variable 17+%, hopefully we'll be fortunate enough to have this card in its current state for many years to come.
Eek! Just got my notice in the mail
It's been a rough AOD year for me (see here for my story)

@DoppelgangerD wrote:For those of you with this card, I'd love to know what you're spending more than 1500 a month on that can't already be beaten by other cards.
All online spend (unless it's amazon, target, Walmart, sometimes paypal, at 5%).
//SNIP//
Other one time larger on-line purchases like my home theater chairs, receiver, projector, etc. A few months ago, we bought a $2500 sectional at Mor. And so on.
Thank you so much for all the details, and great examples of non-cat spending.
Uh, but those are NOT non-category spending.
Most of those purchases fall under the "Online Shopping" category, which can be covered with cards from 3%-5.25%
Furnishings also are likewise covered by 3%-5.25% if chosen as a category (Home Improvement & Furnishings).

Are any cards with 3+% multipiers uncapped? I can think of 3% on Paypal as an example, but not all merchants support paypal.
