APR reductions from Barclay

I gave Barclay a call to see if they could reduce the APR on my Rewards and Apple Rewards cards. I was rewarded with the Apple card's APR going from 15.74 - 14.74%. My regular Rewards card had a more significant decline. That went from 17.24 - 13.24%. I usually don't carry balances that would accrue interest but it's nice to try to keep them low.  I also asked if there were any special offers and more important, SP CLIs available. No luck with those.

Good job. I need to try lowering my Uber in another month or so. I got the card in January and they gave me a 24.xx% APR with a 752 score. :/
I also want them to upgrade me from Platinum to Signature. I really think I got shafted with my application. They gave me a $10K SL, but killed me on the APR and Visa level. I called and they said to wait a few months to request better conditions.

I just called in to ask an APR reduction. CSR said i was eligible for a decrease from 21.24 to 17.24. I said yes, of course! . I also asked if i was eligible for any CLIs and she said we would have to do a hard pull this time so I said no. She added that since my account will turn 1 year next month, they would review it by then though.

All in all, the APR reduction is great! I hope I get a CLI by next month though.

I wonder what a 752 Fico needs to achieve to beat a 24% apr from Sir Barclays.....probably renunce your citizenship and become a member of tge High Society, jolly good show indeed

I called to ask if they have a holiday promo APR they said no but was reducing  perm APR from 10.99 to 9.99.

I have a 3k balance and fico 796  15% credit Uti on report (not card)
