AU question

Will adding someone as an aurthorize user to an account that is only months old with a 30K limit help their credit at all with the account being so new? If this will not help them how old does an account need to be so that it is affective? The person has no real prior credit history so being added as an AU will be the first thing on their file.

being the first thing will help some but some time will need to pass before it plays a huge role or anything

Yes, it will help immersely.  Add the person to the account.
