Walmart 2k CL
Target $300 CL :smileyvery-happy:
Tomorrow, Express shall join their rotting corpses.
May they RIP.
How do you stand with utilization now?
went from just 4.85% util to 6.50% util according to my personal spreadsheet tracking.

Dell Preferred Account, you thought you could be sneaky not having a physical card and all...but I caught you. tomorrow when their call center is open, OFF WITH YOUR HEAD!
Oh my! You and I were on the same page thinking about closing out some accounts. I was just holding on to them for utilization purposes but I don't really need that now. I had that mentioned to me on one of my successful recons that I had a lot of new accounts opened. The accounts I want to close are all less than a year old. They are a total of 5 commenity cards worth $2500 in CL's opened with the shopping cart trick. One of the CL's is $150 and the largest is $750. When I look at my report, and I have some pretty healthy limits on my major CC's, and see those little teensy weensy limits it just looks odd.
I see you took the bull by its horn and just hit the closed button. What were the ages of the CC;s that you closed?
Congrats on your spree - that had to be satisfying.
I'm going to be doing some of this soon. I have 17 (or 18) total open accounts and I at least want to get it down to 10 or less - it's simply too much to worry with at this point. Criterion one will be that anything under $5000 CL will get the axe, then I will start looking at annual fees, etc.

YEah, no point in closing an account that provides you benefits - no matter how small. Even if it's just pocket change, it's your pocket change.
You can close the account and switch to a Target debit card. It's not a credit card and it'll still give you the 5% off at Target. Win-win!
The debit card is awesome! I have one too :-)
