I think you still have to me on Alaska metal.
Just did a search for flights to DFW and LAX with companion pass, and no American flights came up. Those are American hubs, so I'm guessing no go
ETA - but Alaska rewards flights booked online now include American metal!
Thanks for looking into it. Yeah the American award flights didn't go away for very long at all between ending the partnership last year and renewing the partnership last year. F award fares on Alaska (or even a split AA/AS ticket) were a good value; I went to LA in early 2020 for 25k on a split AA/AS route (used mostly orphaned Virgin America miles) in F, whereas the F fare on AS metal alone was 70k for that flight.
@K-in-Boston It would be nice if the Alaska pass could be used on AA metal. Once things slowly go back to normal I will probably put some spend on the Alaska card just because they do have other sweet spots where their miles are valuable. I'm still holding out until March 31st when they officially join OneWorld to see how things shake out.

I have the card and I use the companion pass although I will be honest and say that I've tried to PC this card to something else after Alaska all but left my home city airport.
When they were here the pass was fairly simple to use. As others mentioned it's capped at $121 for a round trip companion. Alaska only flies one route of out here now so unless I need to reposition to the west coast I don't find much use for it anymore these days.
But things in the airlines are constantly changing so since I can't PC the card I will hold on to it for a little while longer and hope that Alaska eventually adds additional routes.
The reason that I got the card was they flew direct from my home city airport to San Diego and I used the companion fare for the route specifically year after year...was a bit sad when they cut the route.
I live a five minute drive from the Seatac airport and I plan to live here for my working life so I'm probably in a good position
But right now I can't think of making travel plans AND I just got the BofA travel card less than a month ago for the 0% APR period and no FTF so I'll wait until I see the offer @lhcole77 mentioned to app for it.

Used it for flights to Mexico and three times to Hawaii. Third Hawaii flight had to be canceled due to Covid.
After Covid, hoping to use it for a trip back to Costa Rica.
I've saved thousands of dollars so far using it.
Since it's capped at $121 how have you saved thousands of Dollars using it only four times? Not to mention going to Hawaii as I've not seen flights there less than $450ish.
Nevermind i hadn't had my coffee yet...
