Alaska Airlines SUB 40K?

I received a mail offer from Alaska Airlines for with a signup bonus of 40k. Is that a good offer? Have you heard of a higher offer?

Re: Alaska Airlines SUB 40K?

Thanks, i-like pizza. I may pass because I want the business card. The personal Alaska airlines would affect my 5/24 status. Maybe I will call to see if they can do the business version at 40k.

It's one of their higher offers...and certainly higher than when I applied and was approved.

If you are able to get the business version for 40k, I would jump on that! That is the only good card from BOA

The highest [targeted] offers I've seen for both biz and personal versions is 50K. But, 40K isn't bad depending on how soon you're looking to book a trip or whether maximizing value on existing points.

Re: Alaska Airlines SUB 40K?

I really want the business version. I may call and ask their current promotions. I did this with Amex Open yesterday and got an offer for 80k on Delta Platinum and public offer is only 35k. Willing my mojo will get me the elusive 50K offer. LOL.
