Called this morning with a CLI request for my Alliant Platinum Rewards Visa...it's been a year so asked for $20K (was at $15K), they countered with $17K. Third highest limit...and every little bit helps with UTIL % during this 2x rewards points period so I'll take it!
Are the reward points worth it at all? I decided to go with the alliant regular visa so I could get a card with a low apr just in case (my lowest is 11.25). Of course I ended up with a non rewards card with 15% apr. I'm hoping in 6 months they will reduce the apr or PC to the rewards so the card has some use.
Was it a hard pull?
Nice! Congrats!

Hard pull...rewards, when they're 2X are OK. When they're 1x, not so OK.
On a side note I'm loving alliant more and more. I did a mobile deposit of a $3000 balance transfer check from discover and 2500 was available in two hours and the other 500 had a 2 day hold. I thought it was usually the other way around
. The most I've ever had and had when I did the upload was $500 in the account.
