Alliant CU, is this a good CU to join?

Do they approve on scores, history or both? Since I wasn't able to get in at NFCU I'm looking for another CU to join. I have joined 2 local CU here in my area but their personal loans only go up to $20,000. I was looking for a home improvement loan.

they use a EQ Advantage score.  They had some popularity about 6 or so months ago with lots of approvals, unless pre-approved upon opening account they seem to always request income verification, if you don't have a problem with that than they are probably pretty good choice.

Same here, i have a fraud alert on my credit file.  I applied today online and was instructed to mail in stuff--I'm not going to follow through with it.

I checked Equifax and they softed me, so I'm just going use that inquiry for a local CU.

Keep us posted if you get approved for a card though
