Just curious of how high their credit limits go? I have had 20K limit for quite sometime and hesitant to ask for CLI because I know they HP.
Thanks
One of our members who talked to underwriting told me they can go up to $50K, @Jnbmom. On the other hand, they seem pretty conservative and getting limits close to that may require a lot of spend or high income or deposits. Just my personal opinion.
For actual data points, I've seen SLs and/or CLIs in the $15K to $30K range so I'm pretty sure it could go up to $30K at least.

You are right, my Alliant Visa Signature $30k
From everything I've read they only rarely give auto CLI's, and maybe not lately. CLI's requested by customer are HP's.
With that said, I started out with a CL of $15K with them 2.5 years ago, then CLI'ed to $30K about a year ago.
I may may try for another CLI here in a couple of months once I sort out my near-term strategy, especially with the arrival of the USBank Smartly.
What income did you put when you applied to get a 30k limit? This is a great limit for Alliant!

I got the card 9 months back.
Was given approx 1/2 my normal starting CL.
Heavy use 70+% CL
Asked a month ago for a CL increase.
Refused " Not enough income"
10k Cl, Income ~200k, All other cards 20k+.
Very conservative, my lowest CL, ever.
However they did not HP me for the denial !
Maybe they HP if you get the increase.
April, I went for the US_Bank Smartly, got starting of 20k.
US_Bank with a new account and new inq, gave me 2x. ![]()
