Amazon Prime Visa

Has anyone else noticed it's stepped up it's game?

In the past, it was just my default card for Amazon shopping.

Recently though, they started doing 5% cashback for various categories. The latest is today's email for gas, groceries and restaurants. This is the second or third time this year I'm getting these emails.

It's only through the end if December, but I still appreciate it.

Yeah, at various times it's one of the strongest cards in my wallet.  I have the gas/grocery/restaurant deal through December as well as travel through March (also 5%) so I've been using it quite a bit the last few weeks.

I'm actually having to be careful not to hit the max on the gas/grocery/restaurant deal since we still have nearly a month to go; I have other cards with the same 5% for those individual categories but it sure is nice being able to use a single card for all of them.

I didn't receive the email offer and double checked my account, no bonus categories for me Smiley Sad

That's so weird. Maybe check your spam folder?

I got 2 emails at separate times. One for the 5% groceries, gas, and restaurants that came yesterday, and the one for travel on Monday.

One time I got the offer about 2 weeks before it expired. So you may still get it, but won't have much time to use it.

Re: Amazon Prime Visa

Thanks for sharing this @ficonightmare !

I didn't receive an email, and don't see it in my account. Do you have to activate anything? I'm wondering if maybe those who don't receive notification will still receive it. Guess I can test it out. Thanks again!

The December offer shows up in the Chase app/site as an offer, or what other cards usually call a deal. Scroll through the offers for restaurants and merchants and you may find it amongst them.

You're welcome.

I activated it through my email, but it's also showing up on my Chase account page.

I would just call them and ask.
