Amazon Rewards Visa No Minimum Redemption?

First time posting, but have been a long time lurker.

I just noticed today it appears Chase has removed the minimum redemption for rewards on their Amazon Rewards Visa. Previously it was 2,000 points ($20). When I was checking my rewards from the rewards page I only had 1,753 points ($17.53) in rewards, but it did not give the verbage about needing at least 2,000 points to redeem. I went through to try to redeem my 1,753 points and it worked. I always do the deposit option, so I won't know for a few days if it fully goes through, but I did receive the confirmation page on the site as well as the email.

Anyone else seeing the same thing?

I would post screenshots, but seeing how this is my first post I do not have the ability to yet.

Welcome to the forums.

I’m pretty sure this was reported in a previous thread.  Looked for it but can’t find it.

The subject of the other thread is 'AARP' but Amazon is covered as well:  https://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Credit-Cards/Chase-AARP-Redemption-Minimums-GONE/m-p/5256634#M1553833

My apologies. I did not see the other thread when I did my initial searching to see if anyone else had posted about this.

You can delete my thread if it is unnecessary redundant information.

No worries... the title on the other thread implies it's only for AARP, so your thread is useful to remind folks the new lower redemption applies to Amazon as well.  Smiley Happy
