So I applied for the Amazon prime store card on 11/25. Got approved for $1900. I've put around $500 on it and always PIF. I called CS today to request a CLI. To my surprise they asked me how much I wanted. Caught me off guard. I stumbled and said 5K. Got approved instantly! This CLI game is dangerous! Now I feel I should have been more ambitious and asked for more. Even though 5K is more than enough for anything I plan on buying from Amazon. Not sure if I should try again next month.....oh well!

Just another update for anyone that might be interested. I'm planning on buying a Macbook Pro on my prime store card but wanted to be mindful of the Utilization. Im currently sitting on a 5K CL in just over 90 days with the card. Started with 1.9K in November. Asked for my CLI in Jan and got approved to 5K. Called credit solutions again today and asked for $12,000 ( go big or go home right). They did a SP on my file and approved me for $10,000. Probably not gonna ask for a CLI again on this card. My scores are Exp 740, TU 723, EQ: 731. I'm lovin' Synchrony right now.
Been "stuck" at $8k for going on over 3 years, but even when I take advantage of promotional financing I'm never over $2000. Then again, Just got approved for the new Chase version when it was released with a $5K SL so I generally use that one more now for standard purchases - special financing will still go on the GE/Sync version.
