I logged into my account and I can see I have 3 statements already, and the dates were the 11th and 13th, which do correspond to the reports on my CR, as in 3 days before. Thanks for all the info and advice, I'm gonna wait for my next statement, and hopefully that button will show me some luv!
Best of luck to you! Let us know how it goes. I will live vicariously through you until I can hit the button myself.

Good luck after your 4th statement!
Amazon has been good to me.
I opened the account in Aug 2013 with a 600 limit. At the 4 month mark I got an Auto increase to 900. At the 8th month mark I got an auto increase to 1800.
I have not pressed the luv button at all.
I have a util of about 30% reporting (all cards) and I have carried a balance (promo's) on the amazon account ever since I got it and even paid late by three weeks one time a few months ago.
This is just my opinion with my GE accounts and YMMV of course, but I think GE/Amazon likes to see usage. I have a belk and sams account with GE also, and while I use the belk card constantly and see the every 4 month increases, Ive used Sams once and have only gotten an increase of $63.00. (you read that right, not a typo)
I think you will see some auto luv after your 4th statement. And if you dont, press that button
@MadTechnologist wrote:I have an Amazon Store card and I can't remember exactly when I got it, but according to myFico it started reporting on March 1st, 2014. It has a CL of $800 and right not my balance is $239.50. I am trying to pay offer my PS3 with the 6 month interest free promotion on it and that's less than 30% uti on the card, so I'm mildly pleased about that. Sure it's not 10% or less, but I'm no where near max either. Anyway, what I can't seem to figure out is when Amazon reports my balance. I've seen it report several times already since I had it, and it's always been different dates. 3/1 reported that I had the card, 3/5 reported that I had a $0 balance, 3/6 reported that I had a $86 balance, 4/14 reported my balance of $165, and the latest was 5/16 reporting my balance was $126. So, I'm thouroughly confused as to when it'll post so if I can I can make sure to pay my balance before it did. If anyone can shed some light on this, I would greatly appreciate it.
Furthermore, I hear that they give automatic CLI every 3/4 months, is that so? And if it is, when is it? Could I expect to get 1 June 1st or maybe July 1st? And furthermore, how much do they usually increase it to? Is it like a certain % of your current CL or maybe a set amount like $300/$400, or something like that? Could someone help me with either 1 of these questions?
Its def YMMV thing.....I have had my wally and amazon 400 and 700 respectively since 7/13 and no incresase.
I have tried many times oover the auto line nothing, so I tried the solution line lady sumbmitted my request and came back in 2 min and says its no go sorry.
U will get a letter....I am closing this sucker in july if i dont see anything.

I have an amazon card and it reports three days after my statement date each month that there is something to report. It seems that the first reporting was just due to it being a new card and new activity maybe? Not sure. But that has been my experience.
As far as cli's I have never received one and I have had the card for two years. I actually got a CLD after 18 months so ymmv in that dept... Most people say call credit solutions and you can get a decent CLI that way. Wish you luck with the card!
Geez, I thought I was doing bad....lol
I'm approaching a year with my GE cards and so far no nothing and I use regularly, nothing big or small. I just got off the phone with credit soultion people, tried it and still no go.
Anyways, I'm done with GE, I will b closing in june or july afterr its paid off.
I just auto luv from barclay after my 6 statement so I'm kool as for now.
How did u end up with CLD? did u not use it for a long time or somethin'?

Regarding the credit line increases, I started with a $800 limit with them, too. Four months after I opened the account, I tried the luv button and got an increase of $400. I did a lot of my Christmas shopping on Amazon, so my balance was a little high at one point, and I had paid it down to about $300 when I got the CLI. So, you may want to try the luv button after four months.
I think it depends on what day today is with GE.....lol
U r going to be hearing a lot of mixed results with GE bout their cli every 4 months. I personally think its a BS.
It all depends on ur profile period. I try not to get caught up in that every 4 months BS.
I haven had any auto luv in a year on my GE cards.
Good luck
@Countingpennies wrote:I went from $600 to $1400 after 4 months, with the luv button. Make sure you've had 4 statements. If you've had a 0 balance, sometimes a statement isn't generated.
If u dont use the card for any given billing period then u will not get a statement from amazon. Now if u use it and pay it off b4 statement closes, u will still get the statement cut showing a 0 bal.

Whatever you statement close date is, that's when the balance is reported. GE is usually very fast to report new accounts, so your first month of reporting sounds typical for them.
Amazon works like any other GE card, in terms of CLI. Request one after every 4th statement using the LUV button or Credit Solutions. They haven't been as CLI friendly for me as my other GE cards, so YMMV for CLIs. I opened mine in July with a $700 CL...no LUV from the button or CS yet. :-(
+1
@MadTechnologist wrote:The due date is different from the statement close date for most CCs. For example, my Amazon is due on the 28th, but the statement closes on the 6th. The only CC I have where the due date and statement date are the same is Macy's.

I am amazed at how many people are not familiar with the " grace period", once u know how "grace period" works and its simple as pimple.
