I just got approved for the Amazon Store card (Sync) for $800.
What kind of card is this considered? I have 2 Cap One's...but this is different than that (meaning is it considered a store card?) The open line will help with my improve my score because of the available credit?
Thank you!!
Yes it is a Store card, only for Amazon but if you shop there it's great, i have one and the Amazon visa card ,i applied for both at the same time and got both.
It is indeed a store card if it wasn't the actual Chase Amazon Visa. But it can now be used in more places than just Amazon on the store card, I just figured out this past week most stores that use Amazon Payments will also let you use your Amazon card if you use the pay with Amazon button.
Any yep it should take your utilization lower and up your available credit.
This is a store card, so you could only use it on amazon. I believe it will report CL to your report (per the 100's of threads I've read) so it will be able to help your utilization. I would call in credit solutions and ask for a CLI for it is likely you will get one. I called a couple of days after approval (still don't have the card in hand) and I got a $6000 CL with a $1300 SL. Good luck!
