Will it be a hard pull if I request earlier than 4 months? I had CLI last April through backdoor number. I'm thinking of another CLI, what do you think?
I used the online CLI option and got a CLI to from $3,200 to $4,000 a month ago. Chatted in today and requested a CLI, went from $4,000 to $6,000. Just ask for a high amount and let them counter. Synchrony bank does soft pull CLIs.
i just requested cli through chat today. only had the card since june and only one statement posted so far. asked for 6000 and got it. original limit was only 400.
I got my CLI via chat before I even got the card in the mail. Speaking of which, I'm not sure why they even send out the card laminated paper with my name and number on it. Useless. Anyway, more than doubled my $2000 SL.
Shouldnt be a hard pull, they should warn you and ask permission before they did one anyway.
Same as above posters, ask! Worse they can do is say no Then you can try again in a month or so

Close to useless, but not entirely. Your account number isn't on your statements and it cannot be found on the site (as far as I can tell). If you don't save your account number via some electronic method, that silly card is all you've got when you need your account number. Don't count on Amazon saving it permanently. My store card account disappears from my Amazon profile a few times a year and I have had to re-enter it more times than I can count.
Where are you folks seeing a chat on the Amazon/Sync page? I've never had the option to chat....

Yeah, the number is important, but the physical card itself is (so far) completely useless. In fact, they could deliver it via secure mail so you can save it to your computer. It's no less secure than snail mail.

when you look at your account overview it's on the right side towards the bottom. it's only there during valid business hours so keep that in mind too
Yup. They really should make the chat icon always visible, and during off hours indicate what time they'll be back on.
