I'd try the online chat or call credit solutions. I heard the cli button isnt as easy to get. I called the number right after I was approved and they bumped me up from my 700 SL

Best answer to the overall question? A resounding, "NO!". Other than the basic indentity verification, they dont ask a single thing, other than your income. And I wouldn't consider you breathing out a few syllables, "verification", if that's what you were asking. They just tell you theyre going to read that statement that you dont have to include income from alimony, etc, if you dont wish to, and when theyre dont reading it, they ask you for a number. That is the extent of the verification.
They then ask if they can put you on hold for a few minutes, to which you cheerfully say yes, as it takes less time than waiting for a fast food order. Then they come back and ask if they can send you a code to your cell or home phone, to verify something or other, and again you gleefully say "sure", as you know you're very close to getting to hear what you want. If you choose a cell phone, they will then read you a disclaimer that normal text message rates will be incurred, and then they ask if they have your permission to text you. You say yes, and the text comes soon without too much awkward silence in betweem(no need to make conversation).
After you read the 5 or so digit code back to them, taking pride that you are who you say you are, then there is a bit of the awkward silence where you may wonder what they are doing . Don't worry though, it doesn't last too long. I believe after that you get your answer, and react accordingly. If you aimed high purposefully in order to leave nothing on the table, they will apologize like mine where Will Said, "Were able to authorize you for $12,000. You will be receiving a letter from the credit bureau why we weren't able to authorize the full $13,000 you requested", at which point you try to keep a straight face, even though they can't see it, and respond in the manner you find most fitting.
I don't like to go into things blind on the first time either(even though I did for this), so I understand how you feel and hope we were able to address your concerns satisfactorily. Really, all that's going to be in that cave is what you take in. For the most part, it is quick and easy. After the first time, I found it fun, and to avoid routine you can actually work on points for style if you wish. Seriously, it sounds like you will find this surprisingly easy, wish you had done it earlier, and wonder when you can do it again. I will not make the obvious analogies there. I give you my blessing to go forth and score a higher CL!
This is how easy it is:

Now if it would have went well, they would have countered with something more than my current limit, but less than $25k. Theres no need to be fearful.
I have had more success calling Credit Solutions. Started with 700.00 and now have 10k.
