Is the Delta Reserve's concerige service the same as the one offered on the Platinum card? If not what is different about it.

Thanks!

Re: American Express Delta Reserve

The phone number is the same so I assume it's the same team.

Just so you know, you only have until August 3, 2022 to request the 747 one.

Re: American Express Delta Reserve

I decided to go for the 747 edition, hopefully Amex only does 1 round of them and doesn't return the limited edition

Delta only has so much 747 to work with. They stopped flying them in 2017.

Re: American Express Delta Reserve

Are they still giving that out for new sign-ups?  I tried to get a design change on mine and they were apparently out—which was a right shame, as, because I'd accidentally gotten my wife an authorized user Delta SkyMiles Platinum card (Are those like the "gold card" accounts you can get with the Platinum?) she was able to get the 747 card as it was technically a product change.

Current cards:
  • Amex Gold (NPSL)

  • Amex Gold (NPSL)

  • Amex Platinum (NPSL)

  • Amex Green (NPSL)

  • Amex Platinum for Schwab (NPSL)

  • Amex BCP ($10,000)

  • Delta SkyMiles Reserve ($19,000)

  • Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant ($10,000)

  • Hilton Honors Aspire ($3,700)

  • Amex Blue Business Plus ($15,000)

  • Bill World Elite MC ($10,000)

  • Citi Custom Cash ($4,000)

  • Capital One World Elite Mastercard ($4,300)

  • Mercury Mastercard ($3,650)

  • Discover IT ($3,300)

  • Apple Card ($5,750)

  • NFCU Flagship Rewards ($11,000)

Re: American Express Delta Reserve

It's still on the website until August 3rd, I didn't think they'd run out.. My understanding was that there was less Delta Reserve cardholders than Platinum holders

Correct. For Reserve you have the option of adding a Reserve authorized user for 175 a year which gives them lounge access and cell phone protection. You can also choose to give them a platinum for free which does not have those features. That being said, the 747 cards are for Reserve card holders only, so you may want to look into your wife's card before you have a $175 surprise.

As for them running out, they probably ran out of stock for upgrades but still have some to entice new card holders.

Re: American Express Delta Reserve

Do you think this 747 edition is still going to be a rare Amex?
