Do they have revolving accounts where you can carry balances from month 2 month.

yes, they have revolvers. however, revolve at your own risk.

They really don't like to see a new account carrying a balance. They do financial reviews and will close you down in  heartbeat if they feel you are a risk.

amex has (essentialy) 2 types of cards charge (pay in full each month) and credit cards (revolve a balance). amex is very antsy when you revolve a balance too long. they traditionally are a charge card issuer and can't seem to shake the pif mentality.

Well i guess Amex is not the card for me. Well one more question do they life for you to make large purchases or can u purchase small stuff.

depends on your definition of large. one poster said that his father bought a 1.5 million dollar crane with thier centurion. one other has said they were suspended after the first purchase.

AMEX tends to be bi-polar, which is why you will not find them in my wallet.
