I know this is going to sound vain, but that's a really nice looking card 😜. Good design if true.

Not vain at all, as I was thinking the same thing. I don’t know how this would fit in with my my current travel lineup. I’m sure if the SUB is lucrative, I could be persuaded 😂

Re: American Express To Launch Delta Charge Cards.

I hate to be Debbie Downer, but numerically the two photo files sit between the Amex Plenti card (circa 2015) and SimplyCash (circa 2014?), which are immediately numbered higher than (in descending filename order) EveryDay Preferred (2014), and a little after Plum Business (2012).  Images numbered higher include what was rumored to be the Tier One card (2016), Simply Cash Plus (2016), Schwab card (2016), Schwab Platinum (2016), Blue Business Plus (2017)... you see where I'm going?  I think these were proposed cards in late 2014 or early 2015 that never materialized.

Re: American Express To Launch Delta Charge Cards.

I'm very interested in the details when these come out!

BUSINESS; Amex | Citi

Re: American Express To Launch Delta Charge Cards.

This product doesn’t make any sense. Notwithstanding the old design language compared to new Amex cards, what benefits could a Delta cobranded charge card bring to the market that the four consumer Delta cards and three business Delta cards don’t already cover?

Re: American Express To Launch Delta Charge Cards.

Small update: The American Express branding is the old design. In addition it looks like these were added/updated on June 9, 2017. Obviously still possible that American Express plan to add Delta charge cards at some stage, but seems unlikely to be anytime soon. None of my regular sources have heard anything about a Delta charge card either.

Exactly what I was thinking. I even pulled the metadata, no real useful info besides that it was edited with CS5 (2010 software) and it is jpeg. Most of their card image assets are in png, I think. No correlation, but still, it just seems silly.

Re: American Express To Launch Delta Charge Cards.

Thanks Debbie.
To pile on, it is probably a proposed “charge card” in the sense of a store card. Only useful for booking on Delta.com or the apps Smiley Happy

No AF
No FTF ( because nobody else accepts it )
No BT fees ( because no BT )
Can be used on the plane, to buy snacks, but it will require the flight attendant to swipe it 10 times instead of the usual 5.

Let’s all remember to adequately credit these posts to the appropriate person.  This a quote from DoC.  Lots of us do it but in our hurry to report news we make it seem as if the posts are ours.  Generally it’s better to quote a small portion of an article and provide a link.
