I can definitely understand if you’re a CB guy, but then why not go for cards like the DC or PP MC that offer 2% back? Honestly, I’ve never understood the allure of the Magnet.

0% for 15 months + $150 back after minimum spend....PP 2% doesn't offer that. How much money does 0% vs 20%+ save you over a .5% cash back differential?

Re: American Express product change question

Value is person-dependent.

If you're already PIFing, 0% is nice but nothing too special.

If you're carrying a big balance at 20%, 0% for a 3% or whatever BT fee is great.
Personal spend: Amex Gold, Amex Schwab Plat., BofA PR+CCR(x2), Costco
Business use: Amex Bus. Plat., BBP, Lowes Amex AU, CFU AU
Perks: Delta Plat., United Explorer, IHG49, Hyatt, "Old SPG"
Mostly SD: Freedom Flex, Freedom, Arrival
Upgrade/Downgrade games: ED, BCE
SUB chasing: AA Platinum Select

Good point with the SUB + Intro APR. I hadn't thought about that as a reason to get the card. I believe the Quicksilver has a better offer, though. If I recall correctly, Quicksilver has 0% for 15 months with the option for a $200 bonus, after $1k spend. They also have the $150 bonus for $500 spend though. It also has no FTF, which the Cash Magnet has. Maybe it's an option for you too.
