So I typed my password incorrectly, like I sometimes do. Usually I just re-enter it, and Amex lets me log in. But when I re-entered correctly, this form came up. And it won't let me log in until I complete the form. Even from another computer. I've never been asked the entire credit card number, to reset a password. It just seems weird. Anyone else get this? Yeah it's not like I hit the "reset password" or "forgot password" link.
So I called and asked about it, the CSR gave me a temporary password and said the old one was "revoked." Wow one typo and I have to get a new password. Seems like a new measure.

Interesting. Not sure how this would apply to everyone though. I just tested an incorrect password instance and it did not prompt me with the form OP. Plus, I don't save cache on my PC either. Needless to say, this would apply to revoked passwords for sure.
Yeah I'm not sure how it applies to me either. I didn't do anything differently from usual. That's why I wondered if it was a new 2016 security measure.. but from the feedback so far, doesn't seem like it.
Be sure you aren't being re-routed to someones mirror site. httpS ???
would suck to hand over your CC info

I have mine set to auto fill. Store password separately.
Not autofill but I do use LastPass, which IMO is wonderful. I don't have to remember any passwords for any of my websites. Beats having the same 1 or 2 weak passwords for everything.
