American express fico score

I recently got an amex card and it says complimentary fico scores. Yadada. Anyway when I actually try to click the score link it has always said it is unavailable, and to refer to annualcreditreport.com. has anyone else had this problem? Or is it just down for maintenance?

Yeah DH did but after a week it worked fine and gave him a score.

Is your credit history new?

I got my AMEX in July and it is still not appearing. I think it may be because AMEX hasn't even reported on my CRs yet. My experian credit history isn't that new either.

I got my score as soon as I had access to my online account. Then, 5 weeks later, i apped for Gold Premier Reward and they didn't gave me an HP and 2 days ago I did a CLI and no HP as well!

Is your AMEX account new? For my cards that provide FICO scores, they only have score history as long as you've had the card. If you got your AMEX within the month or so then that's probably why nothing is showing

At first I had quite a few problems accessing links on AMEX. I was using Google Chrome at the time. I decided to use Internet Explorer (after trying for week on Chrome) and I could access everything without a problem. Including my FICO score. If you're using Chrome, give Explorer a try and see if that works.

I am pretty positive it is not a browser problem. It's on AMEX's end since they did not update our accounts yet.

a trick i used as well as many other have is they remove one card from their account and it resets the system somehow , i removed my Costco TE from my account and magically the fico score appeared.

I got my Amex a couple of weeks ago. For the first week access to the fico score link didnt work either and directed me to annualcreditreport.com as well. After calling 2 different times, and talking to literally 7 different people, I was advised that it could take up to 1 month for it to start working being a new customer.

About 1 week later the link started working and score populated.  Anyone know when it refreshes?
