Did anyone get the offer from Amex recently for enrolling their charge card in Pay Over Time to get 10,000 MR points? I recently upgraded my old Zync card to the new Gold card and received the offer a few weeks later. They lured me in with a 40,000 point upgrade offer but was sorta bummed I did not get 50k like most new apps but this 10k made up for it lol.
For those wondering said it would take 8-12 weeks for the points to show up if approved for POT but my points showed up in only a few days and my POT limit was $35K!

They sent mine via email and gave me 2 options: online or call in... I enrolled online in a few clicks. I intend on PIF every month so that was the easiest 10k MR pts ever ![]()
Congrats
.
When I got my PRG a few years ago, I wasn’t aware there might be a bonus for POT.
It is possible AMEX was happy you gave up your Zync Unicorn 🦄

They have sent these targeted 10k offers in batches since at least 2016.

I received and accepted the 10k MR Pay Over Time enrollment offer on my AmEx Zync card earlier this year. My POT limit is $35k as well.
I, too, was offered the 40k MR bonus to upgrade my Zync to the Gold, but declined it. I also have an upgrade link for the Platinum card too, which I am even less interested in.
I was enrolled automatically. No opt-in, and no MR Points...

This isn’t exactly the same thing. I was enrolled automatically in POT select as well.
The OP is referring to POT Direct. You must enroll in this one.
As a DP I finally got enrolled and got my 10K points from the offer and another 5K for it being a headache and the 4 phone calls to get it done.

Ah...
The original post doesn't say that. That makes more sense. Enroll to have POT be your default payment option for any purchase over $100 (and potentially generate interest charges for AMEX), and they'll throw you a points bone.
