Yeah I have baddies, most of which stemmed from a divorce. I'm 31 and unfortunately just getting everything in order and cleaned up. I just got the discover it card but thankfully my dad is willing to help me out by adding me to his Amex. I know I would get denied right away if I applied for my own.
