Per this link, Doctor of Credit is letting us know of this American Express offer at Amazon if you use even one MR point to pay (rest with your preferred payment method), you will get $30 off of a $60 purchase. Works on gift cards (excluding Amazon gift cards) along with any other product. If you click on the ‘direct link’ on his page, you will be taken to your Amazon account (should be logged in) and you will see a ‘click to activate’ button. From there add any item to your card, choose to use MR points to pay. Set the amount at $.01, choose your credit card for the rest of the payment and you will see the $30 discount in the check out box. Pretty easy way to save 30 bucks.
Of course this only applies if you have added MR points as a payment method previously in your Amazon account.
Your points will be applied at checkout but we were not able to activate the promo code. If you have already activated this code, your discount will be applied at checkout.
No luck for me this time, but thanks for continuing to post these. I scored huge the last time around with the 2,000 MRs or $20 for $50 spend. Bought a $50 gift card with every single one of my Amex cards and every single one of DW's Amex cards.
Umm, the link takes me back to this post lol
Yep, nothing for me either this time. I do like knowing when they come up though!
Nothing here either, but did see this message while on the card:
"Get a $15 promotional credit when you reload $100 or more using American Express Membership Rewards points"
For those of you not seeing/getting the offer, do you even see the ‘click to activate’ link or getting a ‘offer not available’ message?
Yes, my bad. @K-in-Boston informed of the error and I subsequently fixed the link

I saw this offer yesterday morning but forgot to use it in the afternoon when ordering some items for my daughter's HS graduation this weekend. To compound matters I had set my default payment method to my Amex PRG to take advantage of a 2,000 MR promotion last month and forgot to reset it to my Amazon Prime VS card so I also missed out on the 5% cashback and will only get a few MR points instead. I was out and ordered from my phone but couldn't find an option to change the payment method and by the time I got home and on my laptop it was too late to make changes to the order without totally cancelling it.
But at least the system automatically applied my Amazon employee discount so I didn't pay full retail price and I'll probably use this to grab to gift cards instead. Thanks for the reminder.
