Its tempting because the bonus, but in the end is the card worth it? To me not really

Depends how much you spend on grocercies ....  here's an example with this bonus

you spend an average $500 a month on grocercies that's + $510 cash back in your pocket in your first year just from buying your groceries - $75 annual fee =

$435 back in your pocket in your first year. ($285 there after)

Or get the no annual fee version and earned =

$430 back in your pocket in first year.  ($180 there after)

So long term you'll probably will earn more paying the annual fee if you spend more to recoup it back.

American Express Blue Cash (no annual fee) $250 cash back bonus ofer

https://www.americanexpress.com/us/credit-cards/blue-cash-everyday

American Express Blue Cash Preferred ($75 annual fee) $150 cash back bonus offer

https://www.americanexpress.com/us/credit-cards/blue-cash-preferred

American Express Premier Gold Rewards Card (50,000 MR points bonus offer)

https://www.americanexpress.com/us/credit-cards/premier-rewards-gold/

Don't forget the OBC, 500 a month = $300 cashback per year, no annual fee. Have to spend 6,500 first which is easy for some.

Right, which is still available to new applicants, but with no sign-up bonus.  If the backdating policy hadn't changed, I'd have already app'ed for it.

I'm secretly hoping that by some form of magic or amex wizardry that my new accounts will get backdated on my reports haha.

Yes it has no bonus but if you use it right you'll get some nice cash back.

You and 200,000 of us as well Lol Smh

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Re: Amex BCE $250 Offer

How long do you guys think this offer will go for?  I plan on applying for a bce in feb at earliest.  Have 3 ex inqs which are from july and august so i want to let them age to 6 months.  Only have credit from august too, so I assume I need at least 6 months.

Re: Amex BCE $250 Offer

Damn.  It was wishful thinking anyway haha.  Oh well, gives me more time to age and something else will hopefully come up.

In my experience has taught me to always save 2-3 HP's a year for exceptional offers that come up during the year
