Amex Back Dating Questions

So I use to have an Amex Gold that I opened in 1990. I hadn't used the card in years and in 2011, my account was closed, PIF, and never late. My credit reports all have this account listed positively. So last week I applied for an Amex Gold PRG and was approved. The approval email stated "member since 2015'. My new card arrived and says the same: " member since '15. However, the online account I created after receiving my card says up top: "member since 1990". I went on a mini-spree the last week and was approved for several new CC's, including an Amex Delta PLAT and I have an Amex BCP "in progress" now for 3 day's. My question is, any chance my CR's will have my new Amex backdated with the 1990 member date or do you think they'll show 2015 once they report ??? Any chance I could call Amex and request they send me a new Gold Card (and any others that show 2015) with member since 1990 ??? Lastly, if they backdate to 1990, does that than change, and obviously help, my AAOA big time ??? Thank you in advance for taking your time to respond.

You can call and have them sent new cards with the correct MSD of 1990, but after 03/21/2015, backdating is officially dead, so your AAoA no longer benefits from Amex's buffer.
