Amex Backdaiting Question

When were you approved? If your account was created in 2013, then it should reflect 2013 online. If so, you can ask for a card replacement. If you apped for but your account wasn't created to 2014, then your MSD will remain as is- 2014

Have you pulled your CR's recently? If so, it should have an open date of 12/2013

No I haven't but I just chatted with an Amex Rep and she submitted my request and boom!!!! my new card will arrive in 3-4 days with my MSD 2013!!! gotta love AMEX Customer Service!!!

Logged into my Amex just now and MSD now says 1995! Wooohooo love Amex! So now since this is a new account how long does it usually take to report to the CRA's? Also it will report 1995 not 2014 right? If I add another Amex or two in the future, it will help my AAOA instead of hurt it? This site rocks.

It should update during your normal statement reporting.  How much it helps will depend on your file  but it definitely will not hurt.
