Amex CLI question

I'm coming up on day 61 on my first Amex card (ED). 1 month after getting my ED card, my score went up 40 points, so I applied for BCE and got approved for $5K. The ED card is only $1k. So, with all this in mind, should I only do 3x or should I ask for $5k too? My score is 48 points higher than when I first applied for the ED card.

Thanks!

It seems that from here you can ask for more, but they can either outrightly reject your request, or they might counter-offer a lower amount. Might as well ask Smiley Happy

Re: Amex CLI question

Give it a shot with either way, shooting high, or more of a conservative limit. That is a nice jump in points there!

Re: Amex CLI question

You can ask for $5k, but the max they would approve up to would be 3x your current limit, so $3k is the max they would approve.
