My Amex that I opened on 12/26 reported today to EX... does it report to only EX or all 3?
Also... I've read multiple threads on people getting a 31 day CLI instead of the 61 day CLI that is always talked about... that being said, should I go for it or wait till next month?
I personally waited until a month after card in hand activation then a few days, but I think I was around 40 days when I requested. Instant approval. Go for it.

All 3.
I'd wait personally.
It should report to all 3.
It depends on you, can you wait for another 30 days? Any changes in your report since you got the card? Any high balance? For some people they got declined and then need to wait for 90 days for the next try.
Thanks all... My report hasn't changed other than a new auto loan which hasn't reported yet. The old one hasn't reported the payoff either.
I'm just gonna wait the 61 days. Even though my app was instant approved I have added about 15 auto INQs (they didn't drop my score other than 1 point off EQ) and don't wanna chance a denial for going for the CLI too early.
Will look for the Amex to report to EQ and TU in the coming days then...
This is a very provocative question. I have poured over the various boards and it really appears after the first statement cuts, 31 vs 61 days doesn't matter. If you're going to be approved/denied the time frame is moot.
However, what does appear to remain intact, if denied, you must wait 90 days to re-apply. So, if denied, wait 121(31+90) days or 151(61+90) days from account creation. If approved wait another 181 days for another CLI

Maybe it matters if they SP between the 31 and 61 days and your reports looks better than the previous SP. AFAIK the decision is made from the last SP and is only a matter to wait for the date that you are eligible (either 31/61/181).
No way to know, it's unclear how often they routinely do SPs. In my case, my overall reports & scores improved except for INQs. Their system seems to have preset auto-declines for certain parameters but, 61 days is definitely not one of them.
Fuzzy logic?

Well I went for it and got denied... Doesn't bother me at least know I know I was lucky to get in the door with the 5k account! LOL I'm pretty sure I'd have gotten the same response at 61 days either way.
