Hello all,
I've searched the formus as well as the internet at large about the Amex Chat feature............does it really exist?
I've tried everything from the payment page to the "contact us" link when I login. The payment page never has a popup even though one browser has popups enabled and the other has an exception for all Amex domains. The "contact us" link just redirects to the main splash screen and reminds me that I am already logged in.
Does anyone out there have a sure fire, 100% way of engagin chat with Amex?
Thanks,
AdCred1
From your Account Summary, right below the image of your card there is a link for "Contact us."
A popup shows up with three options: Phone/Mail/Online. Select Online, then click on "Start Live Chat".
I've also noticed that if I click on "Pay bill" and stay there for a few seconds, a prompt shows up asking if I need help with a payment. It will start a Live Chat session.
It's there for me. You just click the ? button at top right. Then a window will pop up. Then just choose the 'Online' option and click 'Start Live Chat'.
The thing pops up EVERYWHERE.
I went to the "Browse All Charge/Credit Cards" page and it popped up with "Need help deciding which card? Click here to chat with us!"
Well then, nothing causes it to pop up for me.
So, outside of ritual sacrifice, I will take a browser and delete cookies, reset everything as new and try again. Because, honestly, it dies not pop up.
Are you running any ad blockers? If so, try turning them off.
It's always there when I login it automatically pops up, it's kinda creepy like when pull up webpage for a car dealer you get one of those floating pop up boxes that stalks you.
