Amex CreditSecure

So I have Amex CreditSecure credit monitoring. Supposedly you can pull an updated report at anytime - however, even though I pull the report countless times each month - nothing "really changes" until I pull a report after the last Saturday of each month?

Has anyone else experienced the same thing? Hmmm - maybe I need to get FICO monitoring...

Re: Amex CreditSecure

well normaly this only change once a month, when creditors update account balances

so if if there are no new accounts, inquerires , etc ,  CRA offer instant update for fee , so if you late on your house payment, they can pay the fee to it reported asap.

So just going alone paying on time, not applying , don't have anything that might turned over collections.

your score only changes when the content of the report changes, with with expection of age, (ie inqiuery year+ old, credit history mile stone) 7 year old badies SHOULD drop off . so tat would be change in content

Re: Amex CreditSecure

Rbbyrbsn, thanks for the quick reply!

In theory - yes - I understand how it works. However, last week I received updated reports with fixes, from both Equifax and Experian. None of these updates have happened on my creditsecure profiles?

When reviewing my past few reports over the past three weeks - nothing has actually changed, but the report date. And I've been pretty active with accounts and inquires, so to speak.

It might not update automatically - Chase and TC don't.  You have to request a new report (Chase) or an update (TC)
The slide from grace is really more like gliding
And I've found the trick is not to stop the sliding
But to find a graceful way of staying slid

Are you hitting the UPDATE/NEW CREDIT REPORT link? You should see a new date on the credit report each time you click the update link at the top.

Re: Amex CreditSecure

ok - so now I'm confused. First, everyone is right - I think creditsecure does genuinely update everyday. However, here is what is confusing me and if anyone can shed light I would be grateful!

So over the past year there has been a mistake on my credit reports. a "120 day late payment" for one of my accounts. After submitting various letters and proof it was corrected by TU and EX. However, it was not corrected by EQ until I recently received a letter stating such. On a letter I received yesterday, dated from last week, 9/18, it stated that they research my account in question and found: "this account is currently reported paid as agreed, with no late payments." In the attached report it all seemed fix. Again, this letter was directly from Equifax.

Now my issue is even though this correction was made per the letter and verified in the accompanying report copy they sent me, the issue has not been corrected in the equifax reports I pulled today using my creditsecure account as well as using the FICO report/score product from this website.

Can someone tell me how or why this is possible? If equifax fixed this - why is it not being updated on these "refreshed"/new reports?

Thanks in advance for the help and advice.
