My credit reports were dirty from a 2017 Ch 13 (Amex not IIB) and Amex gave me a $10k Delta Gold in mid 2022 when I was 5+ years out of BK.
Everything fell off in January... I applied for a CLI and was denied.
I got a popup a couple weeks ago about upgrading to a Platinum so I accepted... card arrived last week. I got a popup this morning about upgrading to the Reserve so I accepted... and was approved.
2x card upgrades in the same month? I'll take it. My research says the Reserve is the better card (with the $650 AF) but I fly a lot of Delta so it's all good.
My 91 day from last CLI request is next week... maybe I'll finally get one.

I did not get an upgrade bonus with the Platinum. I did get one with the Reserve though... 15k bonus miles with a $2000 spend in 6 months.
Pretty easy to get and will aid in the next free flight I take.

... and I crashed and burned with the CLI request once again. Almost 2 years of heavy usage and PIF... and Amex won't budge off the $10k. I guess I need to be grateful they gave me that SL when I opened the account.
