I guess unless the Forex spend and non AMEX spend makes up for the 89$ annual fee, Fid amex might come out ahead?

I still don't understand why one would keep this card even with only a 35 annual fee.
What is the value in this card to you, Transmorgifying_Bee? Just very curious to see the value in it.-- As I'm thinking about closing mine, as well.
I've had my Green for a while now (first AMEX card), and after reading this post, I went ahead and applied for the Everyday card. I had been thinking about it for a while, but just never pulled the trigger. Your right, it doesn't make sense to pay that annual fee, when other cards have more perks with less of a fee. With that said, once I recieve my new card, I'm going to close the Green. It does hurt from a sentimental standpoint, but business is business.
