I always love the easy-to-hit Amex spend offers with plenty of time. (I think this popped up in October and would have had like 6 or 7 weeks to max out the $489,000 spend for an extra 123k MRs. LOL)

To be fair, these do sometimes pop up on the right card at the right time, though. I used to make bank when they had them on SPG.

Wow, that makes my offer look very reasonable, almost trivial to reach!
So how do these work. If a transaction takes you to say $163.5K, does that $500 go towards the next $163K target? Guess so, if you don't have to add to your card again...
