Amex PC process time?

My sis PC'd her Green card to a Platinum over the weekend on Saturday, she did it through online chat, the CSR said your PC request is approved and then showed some disclaimers about yearly fee and benefits. However when she logs in the account still shows up as Green, and in the account settings tab, there is a replacement card showing up as requested on Saturday with 7-10 day shipping time. Does the online account update as Platinum only when she activates the card itself, or will it update now that the weekend is over?

It will update before she gets the card...sometimes it takes a couple days.

I actually just PCed my Ameriprise Platinum to the Gold card over the weekend using the chat function as well, didn't want to pay the 450 annual fee lol. But after my chat had ended I logged into my account like a few hours later and it showed the Gold card instead of the Platinum. Like everything has already changed over, even in the mobile app and apple wallet.

I too recently PC'd from PRG to Plat. Took 3 days for the Plat card to appear in my account online and 8 days to get the card. So, obviously, YMMV.

A while back I PC'd a BCE to my BCP and it took a few days to update on the website, as others have mentioned. By the time I got the card in the mail it had updated. The following day after the PC I saw the benefits of the new card on my account before receiving the new card.

Update: my sis told me that her account online now shows up as Platinum
