Amex POT Balance completely separate?

I made a point of changing each of my three charge cards to Pay Over Time Select. This requires the extra step of specifying if you want any charges moved into POT. 

POT Direct puts nearly everything in the POT bucket automatically.

With the changes coming in August, POT Direct turns into "POT is On."

Todays POT Select becomes "POT is Off."

Then I will be selecting charges to use a Plan It, if I'm going to pay it over time, and leaving POT as Off, because it is awful.

Just an update, 2 days after my original post and 3 days after I submitted the payment... The $60.22 POT balance is still there along with my Total Balance still sitting at -$9.99.

I will be giving Amex a call today.

Here is the most recent update. I called Amex yesteday and they told me, like some of you have said, that the POT balance is just taking longer to update and they assured me I have zero balance due at all.

My billing period ends today and it still showing $60.22 POT so hopefully nothing weird happens when the statement cuts.
