Amex PRG Welcome Bonus Question

A little history first i got my first 2 Amex cards in 2016. Delta gold which has since downgraded to Blue And the Mean Green Charge Card. Pay no attention to the Hilton card it came over from Citibank. I only had those 2 cards at first. Interesting thing happened this evening i go incognito PRG 50K MRs i go to apply get message im not eligible for Welcome bonus. Ok another item to note i have been denied for this card in the past. I have never had the PRG so how could i not be eligible any thoughts anyone?

Did you pay an AF on the Delta card before downgrading? (Might relate to “not sticking with an AF card”)

I presume you are paying the AF on the Green? (If so, good)

What is your total spend on the three AMEX over the last six months? (Amateur theory of “low spend might not look like enough”)

As an aside, did you ever get any upgrade offers to take the Green to PRG/Gold, for MR points upgrade bonus?

(There is no more PRG, it is just called Gold now)

What reason did they give you for denying you for the Gold in the past?

Payed the AF on Delta 2nd year downgraded 3rd year. Didn't pay a AF on green its been closed for a while now. Didn't get a SUB on it either apped it before knowing about the bonus on it back then. Never accepted a upgrade offer never had gold/PRG Put nice spend on the Amex cards every month.

This ^^^ is likely the culprit.

I closed a Green (no SUB) and a Delta Gold (30k SkyPeso SUB) before the AFs were due and I'm also on the "no SUB for you" list. My two closures were both over a year before the new language/pop-ups started.

I'm hoping that with increased use of my ED and Gold (since the Gold was refreshed) I'll eventually be eligible for a bonus again; data points indicate that usage can sometimes overcome the pop-up.

One Baddie i have on EX same baddie was there when they first approved cards.

That could be the case Uncle B i last applied for it 06/16/2018 and didn't get that pop up.
