Amex PRG offer

Is this a good offer?  It's been two years since I've app'd and was looking at this new offer I received through the email.  I've been debating between this card or the sapphire preferred.

As long at it is 1k spend 50k MR that is the best offer you will see.. Yes it is a very good offer if you value MR points for travel!

Just approved for this card an hour ago. 

Even in the worst case (using MR points for statement credit) it is $300 bonus for $1000 spending in 3 month which is easy.
